Hi friend, Dala here 👋🏽
One of my favorite ways to begin the new year is by spending our first day back in the studio free from emails and project work, placing intentional focus at the forefront of our collective minds. We each dive into creating vision boards for personal and professional development. This tradition has become a cornerstone of our culture, allowing us to dream big as a team while setting the tone for the year ahead. It’s a ritual that reminds me why I started House of Form:
to build something meaningful together.
This year, here’s where my focus is taking me:
Becoming a Better Leader
Leadership is a craft, and I’m committed to honing mine. To kickstart this, I’ve launched a business book club for like-minded women who are entrepreneurs, and we’re starting with The 5 Levels of Leadership. One thing about me—I put what I read into practice almost immediately. Already, this exercise is sparking ideas about how we can grow our organizational chart and nurture leadership within our team.
Personal Growth
Balancing my roles as CEO, designer, and new mom to my sweet London has been a masterclass in intentionality. I’ve learned to make space for what truly matters and to say a big YES to projects I’m passionate about. This year, I’m leaning into that balance even more, ensuring my priorities align with what fills me up.
Our 2025 Motto: Prioritize Passion
This year’s team-written motto reflects who we are at our core. Whether it’s in the spaces we design, the relationships we build, or the culture we foster, passion will be at the pinnacle of everything we do. I can’t wait for you to experience the output of digging deeper into our passions – whether creative or not.
Expanding Our Reach
We’re setting our sights on growing our presence in key cities like Las Vegas, Dallas, and Chicago. These markets inspire us and align perfectly with the future of House of Form. And honestly, I want us to be the talk of the town.
More Sketching
One of my personal goals this year is to spend more time sketching. As a celebration of the hard work I put into House of Form in 2024, I treated myself to a Remarkable tablet. This little gem keeps me offline and fully immersed in my own brainpower, memories, and experiences. It’s a chance to revisit the hands-on creative process that started it all for me—and I’m excited to see how it shapes our projects this year.
As we embrace 2025, I’m buzzing to continue pushing boundaries, crafting unforgettable spaces, and nurturing the incredible team that makes it all possible. Thank you for being part of our journey, and here’s to a year of bold ideas, meaningful connections, and beautiful design.
